Neighbourhood officers tackle ASB in open spaces

Dear Resident,

Our neighbourhood officers have been out responding to one of their current priorities: tackling anti-social behaviour in open spaces.

The team carried out a mixture of plain-clothed and high-visibility patrols across:

Gunthorpe

Paston

Bretton

Netherton

Ravensthorpe

West Town

Werrington

During their late shift yesterday, officers:

Stopped and educated five people about the laws surrounding e-scooters

Observed a further five individuals on e-scooters and e-bikes who made off from officers

Seized one e-scooter in Paston

Dealt with a teenage boy out of court after he was found in possession of cannabis
